waking up at 6.30...lunch boxes to school...not just competing with marks..its like "whats there in the lunch box today?" a gr8 motivator to gotoschool..bithday parties and holiays were more welcome than the school subjects...
exams /tests/PTA eetings/ annual day functions/picnics/sports day .........................
wiping tears and comforting ...taking sides and understanding what school life is all about.....crushes and infatuations and adoloscence and board exams..they do have to come at the same time..dont they ? but todays, phase 1 is over..end of school life.
but there is a feeling of having lost something. You see, my son just wrote his last exam today. and its a milestone not only for him but also for me. no more packing lunches/no more hw/no more PTA's .......................no more breaking heads and tearing my hair or talking with mothers on our woes and joys. ..as much as it s a relief , it is a funny feeling of having grown up suddenly too. memories of my 12th are so vivid ..has the time flown so fast?
but wait............i have another chance to make it up ..if i have missed out something. my second son is just in his 7th and i have 5 more yrs to go of school life.
